The finish to the RBC Canadian Open was intense!
Just ask Adam Hadwin… (who got speared like an NFL running back in a hole that closed up real quick)
Props to the extremely eager security on a solid-form tackle.
Sorry to leave y’all hanging, had to get the toddler ready for bed. I’m thrilled to report that @ahadwingolf is still among the land of the living and in true Canadian form, apologized to the security guard for being tackled.

Gotta love Jessica Hadwin’s humor about the whole incident.
While “the tackle” stole much of the buzz post-tournament on social media you can’t ignore the incredible story of Canadian Nick Taylor winning on home soil in front of a diehard and rowdy crowd.
What you may not know is the story behind the incredible amount of work Nick Taylor has put in over the last 9 months to up his game.
Specifically when it comes to ground forces…
Nick worked directly with Ryan Holley who is a ground force guru of sorts.
Nick’s story of improvement can lend insight into the many pathways to improvement in the game of golf.
A popular path in today’s game is one that utilizes technology to understand pieces of the swing that were previously very hard to see.
The area of focus for Ryan Holley and Nick was ground force reaction plates (a system known as Swing Catalyst) that would precisely measure peak forces in the horizontal, vertical, and rotational planes of movement.
If you have no idea what any of this means… you are like 99% of golfers and most pros.
The power isn’t necessarily in understanding all of the information, but rather to work with someone who does.
That professional can use the technology to more effectively measure and assess the areas of weakness in your swing and then pinpoint the instruction and direction for the golfer to get better.
As a professional golfer, a 1/10th of a percentage point improvement in a single area of the game can have a massive impact on outcomes over a 4-day tournament.
For amateurs, the information collected from technology can dramatically change scoring averages very quickly.
If your goal is to play better golf (and who isn’t) slot in some time with a local pro who has access to tech like the Swing Catalyst force plates.
Your game will thank you.
